FARGO, N.D.-- Ryan suffers from cystic fibrosis which means he’s had more doctors’ appointments, treatments and tests than he can count. However, consistent treatments don’t stop this Fargo native from having the same interests as any other 12-year-old boy.
So when he met with his Make-A-Wish® North Dakota wish granting volunteers, Josh and Dana, he knew he wanted to have a new redecorated, modern bedroom and wanted his favorite color and soccer to be the focal point. Ryan said he chose this wish because he knew it would last him a long time. Now his extreme room makeover reveal is happening tomorrow!
His wish day, on Friday, July 26th will include seeing the Blue Angels, who have invited Make-A-Wish families to practice from 12:00-4:30 pm in preparation for the Fargo Airsho. After practice he will then be surprised by being whisked away in a limo for a 5:30 dinner reservation at his favorite restaurant, Kobe’s. Once he and his family have eaten they will then be picked up in a limo again and driven to his house to see the SURPRISE big bedroom reveal.
