Connor, an 11-year-old boy from Rugby who had a pancreatic transplant will embark on the trip of a lifetime on Sunday as his wish to go on a Disney Cruise Lines® Cruise comes true! He and his family will leave behind the cold and snow of North Dakota and soak up the sun in Florida where they’ll board the Disney Dream Ship.
This ship offers multiple dining options, Disney Believe, character greetings, movie theatres, three pool areas, AquaDuck-a one-of-a-kind water coaster, Goofy’s Sports Deck and so much more. There won’t be a lack of fun things to do. The ship will leave from Port Canaveral, Florida, sail to Castaway Cay (Disney’s private island), Nassau and return to Port Canaveral.
Connor is looking forward to the AquaDuck and pools, meeting his favorite characters and seeing Villains Tonight!, a hilarious musical comedy dedicated to the best of the worst Disney villains all while aboard the ship.
One of the best parts of his wish will be spending time together as a family and not having to worry about the daily stresses and struggles of living with a medical condition. Instead he’ll have to worry about which restaurant they should eat at and how many times he can ride the AquaDuck!
