Share the power of a wish® this Saturday as Kamden finds out that his wish to be a superhero is coming true! Join Make-A-Wish at Wish Fast 3: Civil War on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 9:45 a.m. for Kamden’s surprise wish reveal in Lindenwood Park, Fargo.
Kamden is a 5-year-old boy from West Fargo and he lives for superheroes. On any given day you can find Kamden dressed in one of his favorite superhero costumes battling the villains to save the day. Spoiler Alert: Kamden always wins!
Already a superhero in the eyes of everyone he meets, Kamden is living with Prune-Belly syndrome, a rare disorder characterized by partial or complete absence of the stomach muscles. Kamden is a spunky and incredibly outgoing kid. His knowledge of superheroes, bad guys and Star Wars is most impressive.
Please join us as we share with Kamden and his family that his wish is coming true. His wish will take place at a later date this summer.
Wish Fast is the perfect place to reveal Kamden’s wish to him. It combines his love of superheroes and villains and Wish Fast’s goal of granting wishes. Wish Fast began as a class project by Nick Vculek and was inspired by wish child, Miles Scott, AKA Batkid in San Francisco. Nick graciously chose to donate the proceeds of Wish Fast to Make-A-Wish North Dakota. By giving through us, Wish Fast is making wishes come true for kids all across North Dakota.
Wish Fast will be held in Lindenwood Park with registration at 8:00 a.m., the 10K at 8:30 a.m., the 5K at 9:00 a.m., 3K at 10:00 a.m. and a contest costume at 11:00 a.m. to wrap up the day. Superheroes will need to be on the lookout for villains around every corner, but they’ll be well equipped to fight them. Learn more about Wish Fast at https://www.facebook.com/WishFast/.
