(Fargo, ND) June 24, 2015 – Logan Triepke is a 14-year old boy who was born with muscular dystrophy. He has developed a love of country music and specifically Johnny Cash. Logan spends much time listening to Cash’s music. His one true wish is to fly to Nashville, see The Johnny Cash Museum, and maybe even play his guitar on stage with a band. Flying on a big airplane is also on his bucket list!
Logan, his grandma, uncle, and cousin will be joining him on his wish trip in mid-August. While final details are still being worked out, the trip promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the family.
Wish granter volunteers have been an integral part of the wish team. Volunteers are the main contact with the family through this process. Volunteers met with Logan earlier this year to get to the heart of his wish and have worked to make it come true. Wish granter volunteers were responsible for planning the wish reveal celebration tonight at McDonald’s, Logan’s favorite restaurant. After announcing his wish, Logan was serenaded by Tigirlily as part of the celebration.
Logan’s wish is being sponsored by Adopt-A-Wish®
partner Golf Fore Wishes. This golf tournament is held annually in Mandan, ND and proceeds are used to grant wishes.
