Corrina, a 17-year-old from West Fargo with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, is about to have her wish come true. Make-A-Wish® North Dakota is excited to grant Corrina’s wish to go to SeaWorld®.
On Friday, December 23rd, Corrina and her family will be taking off for sunny Orlando, Florida. It will be a welcome reprieve from the cold North Dakota winter! Corrina loves animals and her favorite movie is Finding Dory, so it was no surprise that her one true wish is to go to SeaWorld. While visiting SeaWorld, Corrina hopes to pet a penguin, swim with dolphins and explore the park to see all of the animals.
Not only will Corrina and her family visit SeaWorld, while on her wish, they will have the opportunity to visit the parks of Walt Disney World® Resort, including Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. During their wish experience, Corrina and her family will be staying at Give Kids the World® Village, where there are even more activities and fun things for the family to do.
For Corrina and her family this trip is an opportunity to get away from treatments and doctor’s visits and instead focus on enjoying the experience as a family. The memories made on this trip will last the family a lifetime and make Corrina’s world that much more magical.
