Two best things about working at Make-A-Wish: #1, the mission. I get to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy! #2, the mission. Best job ever! It galvanizes our team and makes the world a better place, which is one of my goals in life.
Other tidbits: I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and currently am a director on the National Peace Corps Association Board, am a member of the steering committee for the Tri-College NEW Leadership Institute, serve on the Moorhead Park Advisory Board, and am proud to be a breast cancer survivor. My family includes Marc, my partner in life, and our two young, amazing children.
Your wish: I wish to live into old age – still advancing the mission, granting wishes to children in some way, shape or form.
